Course description
A 40-hour course for firefighters who operate or may operate fire department pumpers. It covers fire pumps and their controls, water distribution, intake and discharge hydraulics, fire streams, relay pumping and apparatus care. Students practice producing fire streams from hydrants, relay operations and static water sources.
