Course description
A four-day NFPA 1006 course for shallow, non-intersecting trench collapses. Students cover the regulations, air monitoring, emergency shoring, victim excavation and rescuer-built retrieval systems, with a heavy focus on rescuer safety. Written and practical testing are included.
