Course description

A 36-hour course that takes students from rope rescue awareness (safety, size-up, hazard recognition and equipment identification) through operations-level skills. Operations work focuses on multi-point anchors, mechanical advantage systems, and ascending and descending rope. It trains to NFPA 1006 (2021) and NFPA 2500 for groups and teams.
