Course description
A 32-hour course preparing responders for rescues in trench and excavation emergencies involving injured or trapped people. It covers federal and state regulations, atmospheric monitoring, emergency shoring, victim excavation and rescuer-built retrieval systems, with an emphasis on rescuer safety. Rope Rescue Operations is a prerequisite.
